Peru has a national medical cannabis programme regulated by the Ministry of Health. Patients must obtain a medical prescription from a qualified professional and register with the National Registry of Patients Using Cannabis (RENPUC) to legally access cannabis derivatives through licensed pharmacies or authorized patient associations.
