Patients must be registered in the national system and obtain a prescription from a qualified physician to access cannabis-derived products through authorized pharmacies.
- Patients must be registered in the National Registry of Users of Cannabis-Derived Products.
- Products must be prescribed by a physician authorized under the national programme.
- Cannabis products must be dispensed exclusively through authorized pharmacies.
- Prescriptions for products containing THC require a special quadruplicate prescription form.
- Home cultivation for personal medical use is not permitted under the current regulatory framework.
