Limited accessWhile Lebanon passed Law 178 in 2020 to legalize the cultivation of cannabis for medical and industrial purposes, a functional medical cannabis programme for patients is not yet operational. The Cannabis Regulatory Authority was appointed in 2025 to oversee the industry, but as of early 2026, no licenses have been issued and no medical products are available to patients through a legal framework.
