Official Program

Utah's medical cannabis program is administered by the Center for Medical Cannabis within the Department of Health and Human Services under the Utah Medical Cannabis Act (2018). Patients with a qualifying condition may obtain a medical cannabis card after assessment by a qualified medical provider. Only processed forms are permitted (no smokable raw flower) — patients may use tablets, capsules, tinctures, oils, topicals, and (for terminal patients) raw flower in a medical device.
