Wyoming does not have a comprehensive medical cannabis program. Cannabis remains illegal for all uses, and possession of small amounts is a criminal offense. A 2026 ballot initiative for medical cannabis did not qualify, though legislation (HB 0166) adjusting marijuana scheduling takes effect July 1, 2026. The Medical Cannabis Coalition is working to bring safe access to Wyoming patients.
